La Trobe
Jake D. Franklin is a Casual Academic in the School of Psychology & Public Health with La Trobe University; having recently completed a Master of Applied Science by Research with the Australian Research Centre in Sex, Health, and Society (ARCSHS) at La Trobe University. Based in social psychology, his research focuses on LGBTIQ+ identity and community; Gay, Bisexual, and Queer men's subcultures; sexual health; and culturally-appropriate health promotion. Jake has also assisted with multiple ARCSHS research projects and teaches within the School of Psychology and Public Health at La Trobe (particularly Social Psychology and Psychological Research Methods). Jake has utilised both quantitative and qualitative research methods and is comfortable sharing knowledge with a variety of stakeholders, teaching, student mentorship, and public presenting.
