Jake D. Franklin, BA(Psych), GradDipPsych(ACU), is a Master of Applied Science by Research candidate with the Australian Research Centre in Sex, Health, and Society (ARCSHS) at La Trobe University. Based in Social and Health Psychology, his research focuses on LGBTIQA+ identity and community; Gay, Bisexual, and Queer subcultures, sexual health, and health promotion. Jake has also assisted with multiple ARCSHS research projects and is a Sessional Tutor with the School of Psychology and Public Health at La Trobe (with particular focus on Psychological Research Methods). Jake has learned and utilised a varied range of research methodologies (both quantitative and qualitative) and is comfortable sharing knowledge with a variety of stakeholders, teaching, student mentorship, and public presenting.
