Fei received her PhD from the Department of Computer Science & Computer Engineering, La Trobe University in 1998. Before joining the department as an academic staff, she was a lecturer in the School of Computer & Information Science, The University of South Australia, and The School of Computer Science & Information Technology, RMIT University. She also worked as a software engineer in Ericsson Australia. Her research interests include Text Mining, Logic Programming and Semantic Web. Fei is currently supervising/co-supervising a number of PhD, Masters and Honours students.
