This report is a strategic piece intended to ‘set the scene’ for possibilities in the long term for the development of KeyRing in Victoria. KeyRing is a model developed in the UK to provide support to people with a mild intellectual disability living independently in the community. In Victoria, several neighbourhood network initiatives based on the KeyRing approach support people who live nearby to each other, and foster mutual and social support between network members, strengthen members’ community links and identify additional services as needed.
