This scoping review addresses the overarching question: What does the academic literature suggest regarding the efficacy of warning labels (WLs) on product packaging for aerosol sprays subject to volatile substance misuse (VSM)? It is inspired by a specific concern to identify the potential impact of WLs in deterring misuse by young people, as well as the design elements of such labelling that research suggests is likely to be most effective.
