Making Life Good: An evaluation of a reputed exemplary residential support service for people with intellectual disability and severe challenging behaviour
The aims of this evaluation were both formative (to help form or shape the program to perform better) and summative (to render a summary judgement about the program’s effectiveness at a particular moment in time). In addition, being able to provide a Victorian example of a service that has gone some way towards achieving ‘an ordinary life’ for adults from this hard-to-serve population was an important motivation for undertaking the project.
