Most leaders in Australian corporations are men from Anglo-Celtic backgrounds, few are women, and even fewer are from ethnically diverse backgrounds including Black, Brown, Asian, or any other non-white women, referred to here as EDWIL (Ethnically Diverse Women in Leadership). Little is known about the factors that hinder or enable ethnically diverse women’s career pathways and leadership development in Australia.
