Strength & Conditioning Employer Perceptions Survey: An Interactive Dashboard
This research project aimed to understand industry perceptions on postgraduate strength and conditioning (S&C) degrees and to present the findings in an intuitive and open access form. Survey data was collected from 111 participants employed as performance staff, or in a role that recruits and supervises performance staff. The survey consisted of three main sections: i) perceptions on career development opportunities in S&C; ii) perception on S&C postgraduate programs; iii) perceptions on employability in S&C. Results are presented as an open access, interactive dashboard. It is anticipated that these findings and data communication method can be considered by both industry and academics in the field of S&C and sport science, with a view to improve graduate capabilities consequently lead to enhanced service provision to the athlete.
