The current monotypic genus Calocoides is distinguished from other Calocidae genera in possessing five un-modified segments on the maxillary palpi and lacking a triangular receptacle on the dorsum of the head. Two new species with these characters are here described, Calocoides pravuspina sp. nov. and Calocoides mynottae sp. nov., from adult, pupae and larvae. Keys to the species are provided for the adult males, females and larvae. An association between two, previously described, larval forms and the males of the two new species is provided and is inferred using features of pharate male pupae and cast larval exuviae. This association is further corroborated by evidence from genetic analyses of three gene fragments.
