By exploring the meaning given by these people to international and gender frontiers, this research aspires to emphasize diverse dimensions of transphobia as a form of violence, identifying its impact within the context of migration. Nonetheless, it is important to refrain from victimizing them, as many consider their journey to be a transgression that nourish their struggles, while symbolizing a revindication of their gender identity, as well as of their right to be who they are, being free from fear and persecution.
