Funding

The Diabetes MILES–Australia 2011 Survey was funded by a National Diabetes Services Scheme (NDSS) Strategic Development Grant. The NDSS is an initiative of the Australian Government administered by Diabetes Australia. In addition, Diabetes MILES–Australia received sponsorship from Sanofi ANZ to support the development of a study website. Sanofi was not involved in the study design, data collection or data analysis and had no input in the prepa-ration of the manuscript. YC is supported by the SAHHSS2023 ECR Research Grant Scheme.
