Southern bent-winged bats were captured at Bat Cave, Naracoorte Caves National Park, South Australia, over three consecutive summer breeding seasons, 2015/2016 to 2017/2018. This dataset describes 2966 individuals that were PIT-tagged and released over the course of the study. Data recorded include date of tagging, body mass (g), forearm length (mm), sex (m/f), age (adult/juvenile) and PIT-tag numbers. Reproductive condition was recorded for most adult females and was described as pre-parous (PP), lactating (LA) or post-lactating (PL). Capture, handing and PIT-tagging procedures are described at 10.1071/AM19024. Research was approved by La Trobe Animal Ethics Committee (AEC15-67) and South Australian Department of Environment and Water permit U26453.
