The medium is the message

This publication accompanied the exhibition The Medium is the Message a group exhibition of Australian artists including Chris Bond, Eolo Paul Bottaro, Juan Ford, Sam Leach, Amanda Marburg and Victoria Reichelt at La Trobe University Museum of Art, Melbourne, 30 April to 27 June 2014. Exhibition works included a collection of paintings by each artist in a variety of styles and formats. The exhibition explored painting as materiality, beyond pure method of making, the works included used painting as a means for conveying much more than imagery. The publication includes an introductory essay by Michael Brennan a catalogue of works and 20 illustrations (colour).
