The glory box

This publication accompanied the exhibition, The Glory Box, a solo exhibition by Rosina Byrne at La Trobe Art Institute 8 July to 9 August 2015. Curated by Rosina Byrne. This exhibition formed part of the Julie Miller Markoff scholarship for La Trobe visual arts students of which Byrne was a recipient. Exhibition works included a large mobile style sculpture and photographic portraits. The exhibition explored the oppressive patriarchal nature of culture through the lens of her personal experience as a first generation Australian. The publication includes an introduction and artist statement by Rosina Byrne and 12 illustrations (colour).
