Looking back at the glass asylum

This publication accompanied the exhibition, Looking Back at the Glass Asylum, a solo exhibition by Melbourne based artist Jeremy Kibel at La Trobe Visual Arts Centre 1 August to 9 September 2012. This exhibition was a series of large scale, abstract, textural and largely monochromatic paintings. The works examined our captive attentions which see us move from screen to screen and from closed environment to closed environment without reprieve or question. The publication includes an essay by Ashley Crawford and 11 illustrations (colour).
