Between the dusk and dawn

This publication accompanied the exhibition Between the Dusk and Dawn a survey of work by Australian born artist Vali Myers at La Trobe University Museum of Art, Melbourne, 11 September to 1 November 2013, La Trobe Art Institute 4 January to 23 February 2014 and Maitland Regional Gallery, Maitland, 11 April to 6 July 2014. Curated by Tracy Spinks. This exhibition bought together a number of works from the Vali Myers Art Gallery Trust and private collectors for a post humous survey of the artists work. The exhibition included highly detailed pen, ink and watercolour drawings of themes and subjects deeply personal to the artist. The publication includes an introduction by Vincent Alessi, essays by Tracy Spinks and Robert Wallace, a catalogue of works, and 76 illustrations, 68 (colour).
