Art and life

The publication accompanied the exhibition Art and Life a survey exhibition of the work by artist Vivienne Binns, at La Trobe University Museum of Art 2 July to 24 August 2012. Curated by Penny Peckham. This survey exhibition included a large range of Binns works across painting, photography, collage and print. The exhibition sought to bring together works which demonstrated Binns ongoing enquiry into arts purpose and practice, and the artists personal approach to artmaking which saw art and life as one. The publication includes an introduction by Vincent Alessi, essay by Penny Peckham, catalogue of works, and 27 illustrations (colour).
